5050 Board Animation by Ciaran O'Conner

The immensely talented Mr Ciaran O'Conner took my 5050 board graphic from 2D Illustrator format and did THIS with it!
Ciaran is piecing together a video to document 5050's 10 year anniversary (which was what my board was for) so this is a sneak peak into how good it's going to be!

Fifty Fifty 10 Years Strong

Absolutely honoured to be able to do this, a board graphic for the legendary store Fifty Fifty right 'ere in Bristol.
Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know they've been going 10 years strong, and myself, Richt, Paris & Sam Barett did a board graphic each to accompany the 5050 x Vans Half-cab shoe, 5050 x New Era Hat, wheels, tee's & more!
I wanted to run with the theme of 'time', as it's such a big thing to be going 10 years but at the start I was well stuck, wanting to do something different to my normal style but unsure what, until the idea of a cuckoo clock struck my wee mindtank.
I didnt think I could pull it off, to be honest with you, as Cuckoo Clocks are so intricate, I didnt think I could match it. Many many hours with the pen tool later and here we are...!

Richt UV Xynthetic Board Edit

Richt ~ flatmate, artist & newest Xynthetic family member leant his deadly skills to a skateboard last night, producing a beautiful board complete with UV touches. I filmed it and turned it into an edit, complete with epic battle sequence to rival Lord of The Rings. Check it out here!

After a little experiment turned into a fully-fledged idea, painting a skateboard in ultraviolet ink seemed like a perfectly normal thing to do, so myself & Xynthetic crew member Klingatron did a lil doodle on a board, filmed it & edited it together in a nice neat video, check it out!

I can't describe how overwhelmed I was when asked by Danny if I'd like to design a skateboard deck for Fifty Fifty's 10 year anniversary in August, to join Richt's & Paris' boards.
Obviously I wanted it to be the best thing I've done and after a long time and a lot of vector love, I finished my 'Cuckoo' board. I personally think it's a very different style for me and I cannot wait to hold the printed thing in my hand.
I don't want to give it all away until it's actually unveiled at the 10 year party along side the Fifty Fifty x Vans shoe, New era hat and tonnes of exclusive clothing! You can have this tiny sneak peak though...
