Droplet launch shipment sold out!
Friday 09 May, 2008
I'm very very happy to tell you that the initial exclusive launch shipment of Droplets has sold out! Go Go Plastic received 128 Droplets for the launch night and over half of them sold that evening!

The remaining 50 or so sold out in a couple of days via the GGP Online store! Those lucky cats who came to the launch / ordered online had their box hand-numbered by me and their Droplet also had an extra glossy finish on, which the rest of the droplets won't have! (although Droplet is shiney already)
Fear not though, there is a world-wide shipment of Droplets in preparation, which will make them available in 15 countries and 54 stores worldwide, aswell as my online store and the Crazy Label online store, so don't worry if you didn't bag one at launch!
Stay tuned to the Droplet mini-site for details - www.jam-factory.com/droplet/

Droplets now available @ Go Go Plastic!
Monday 05 May, 2008
I'm very happy to tell you that the remaining 50 or so Droplets from Go Go Plastics world-first shipment are now available to buy online from the GGP online store!
There were only 128 boxes shipped for the launch night, with 70 of them being sold that same night so they're going fast!

Each Droplet is blind-boxed and has been hand-numbered by me, so who know's which one you'll get - maybe the elusive black one!?
The little blighters are just £4.99 each and you can get yours by visiting gogoplastic.co.uk/shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=48&products_id=586
(Fear not, the rest of the world will be getting their shipments but not until June)

Droplet launch night
Monday 05 May, 2008
Friday nights Droplet launch @ Go Go Plastic in The Custard Factory went better than I could have ever expected, let me say a huge thank you to all involved and to everyone who came down to show some love, I really really appreciate it!

The customized Droplets were just out of this world, the detail everyone went to was amazing and I'm so stoked on all of them! Not to mention the awesome things created by Pop Cling & 5280 Lasers - Their contribution to the launch made it something different and I am so stoked to be lucky enough to have had their involvement - thank you both!

All in all it was a fantastic night and I'm over the moon with the reception to Droplet, I can't wait to start seeing them appear around the world when their shipped out to everywhere else!

I'd like to say a huge thank you to Andy @ Crazy Label for making this whole thing possible, he's simply a legend! Much MUCH love to Louise & Jay @ Go Go Plastic for providing such a fantastic venue and for being so lovely, friendly and accommodating!
A Massive thanks to Kurt @ 5280 Lasers and Jason @ PopCling for providing such beautiful & unique 'decorations' in the form of laser-cut graphics and giant adhesive graphics, their help with everything is very much appreciated!
Big big thanks to everyone who helped out with the set-up: Sarah, Anna, Louise, Jay, Pone & Dean! I couldn't have done it without y'all, thank you :)

And of course, last but by no means least, a HUGE thank you to everyone who took the time to come on down to the launch - it really does mean the world to me, thank you so much for your support, you are all the best... yeap, you're my favourite.
You can see all my photo's from the launch night on my Flickr @ flickr.com/photos/jamfactory/sets/72157604880315520/

Droplet vinyl toy launch, this Friday!
Wednesday 30 April, 2008
So my friends, this is it, the big day is nearly here... pictured below is the shipment of Droplets, which is now safe and sound at Go Go Plastic, ready for the launch on Friday!
There's been just 128 droplets produced especially for the launch night, and they're going to be the only ones available in the whole wide world for at least a month (with all the other stores around the world receiving their shipments in June)

So you'll have to come on down to the launch to get your hands on one!
I'm going to number all 128 boxes by hand, so hopefully that makes them a little extra special for the folk getting their hands on them!
That's all from me, check the info below for all the details or check out:

Friday 07 March, 2008
I had these colourful vinyl lovelies drop in my inbox this week and I was over the moon to see them... the very latest sample photos of my forthcoming Vinyl toy 'Droplet', being produced by Crazy Label!

I can't tell you exact details yet but they're going to be dropping (no pun intended) sometime in May, so stay tuned for that!

Droplet Vinyl Toy Prototype
Friday 11 January, 2008
Here it is, the latest prototype version of my forthcoming vinyl toy 'Droplet', produced by Hong Kong-based Crazy Label!
I'm so bowled over by these, to hold a sample in my hands is a dream come true, I can't wait to show you the finished things!

Like I say, they're still in prototype stage - the face graphics will be different and colours will be tweaked but the shape is done and dusted, keep your eyes peeled for more information on the lil' fella's, coming to a toy store near you soon...

Massive thanks to Andy @ Crazy Label for giving me the opportunity to create my own vinyl toy!

Droplet Vinyl Toy Latest!
Sunday 11 November, 2007
I'm super stoked to show you this, the latest stage in the production of my first Vinyl Toy, Droplet! Here's the final wax pattern mould, the definitive shape for the lil' critter, with the next stage being a sample made out of Vinyl.

This whole project is all thanks to Andy Woo @ Crazy Label, the man responsible for production of Treeson. Droplet himself is going to be tiny (2.5inches tall) so he's more affordable and therefor collectable. He's going to be released in 5 different colourways within the 1st Quarter of 2008!
This really is like a dream come true for me, so I can't wait to see the next stage of the whole process, you can be sure I'll be sharing it with you!
