Droplet Vinyl Toy Prototype

Here it is, the latest prototype version of my forthcoming vinyl toy 'Droplet', produced by Hong Kong-based Crazy Label!

I'm so bowled over by these, to hold a sample in my hands is a dream come true, I can't wait to show you the finished things!

Like I say, they're still in prototype stage - the face graphics will be different and colours will be tweaked but the shape is done and dusted, keep your eyes peeled for more information on the lil' fella's, coming to a toy store near you soon...

Droplet Vinyl Toy Latest!

I'm super stoked to show you this, the latest stage in the production of my first Vinyl Toy, Droplet! Here's the final wax pattern mould, the definitive shape for the lil' critter, with the next stage being a sample made out of Vinyl.

This whole project is all thanks to Andy Woo @ Crazy Label, the man responsible for production of Treeson. Droplet himself is going to be tiny (2.5inches tall) so he's more affordable and therefor collectable. He's going to be released in 5 different colourways within the 1st Quarter of 2008!

This really is like a dream come true for me, so I can't wait to see the next stage of the whole process, you can be sure I'll be sharing it with you!

Droplet Vinyl Toy Preview

I can't tell you how stoked and excited I am to tell & show you this... This is the preview for my very own Vinyl toy "Droplet" which is being produced by the most excellent Crazy Label!

This is the 'Sweetie' colourway series as I wanted my first toy to be bright, colourful and fun!

Anyways, this is just a preview, I can't wait to see him go from 2D image to 3D droplet, keep your eyes peeled for more toy information!

I wanna say a HUGE thank you to Andy @ Crazy Label for giving me the opportunity to do this, it really is a dream come true!

CrazyLabel booth

Being part of the Crazylabel family is obviously super cool as is, but when Andy from CL asked if he could use my 'illy' graphic to use as a window display for his new studio, I was stoked!

I tweaked it abit for him, swapping a few bits for some CrazyLabel love but was super surprised and pleased to learn that he used that graphic to decorate his booth at the Taiwan Toy Festival!!!

Stoked! Thanks Andy!
