So, I've been a bit quiet over here on the blog for a few months, but I have the best excuse ever. I GOT MARRIED!
Jane & myself tied the knot 3 weeks ago and have been on cloud 9 ever since! We've been knee-deep planning and preparing, as we took on all the aesthetic challenges ourselves!
We had the most incredible day, it still all feels like a surreal and wonderful dream - we're still talking about it and remembering little parts every day!
I wanted to share with you some of the graphical bits we did, as we really relished the challenge of making things look beautiful and unique to us!
We really loved choosing the music for the day too. From the ambient stuff playing as guests arrived to some of our favourites on the dancefloor, we really enjoyed selecting the different tracks.
We had our friends The Relay Rips play some fantastic live music at night, followed by our friends George & Neil who DJ'ed the night away and got everyone dancing!
I made an online playlist of some of the best music tracks from the day, why not click the image above or this link below and hit play to enjoy some 'Strange' music! www.jam-factory.com/strangemusic
I'd like to finish this blog post with a video. Our friend Adam Cook kindly offered to film our wedding for us - but it was no ordinary video. It was all captured on 16mm film, on a beautiful 1960's Bolex camera! Adam got the film developed and we received a hi-res scan in return. I've edited down the 18-minutes worth of rushes to a nice 4-minute film, set to 'Postcards from Italy' by Beirut, which was our first dance. I hope you enjoy...
Thank you for reading, and thank you to Janey, now 'Mrs Strange', for making me the happiest man in the world.
